Services: Deadwooding
Douglas Fir Tree Care are able to remove any necessary dead wood from a tree. Also known as deadwooding this process is used to prevent any hazards that may be caused by falling branches. Areas that could be affected by falling deadwood are public areas or locations where falling branches may cause potential hazards.
Deadwooding is recommended in public areas where children may be playing, or places where branches overhang pathways and roads. Remedies will be suggested depending on the specific situation. The removal of dead or dying branches is usually for safety and/or aesthetic purposes. Larger dead branches can be safely retained (in order to preserve habitats for birds and insects) by reducing their weight and length.
